Emerald

In the year of 1990 household EMERALD (IZUMRUD) devices destined for water purification and conditioning were put by “Scientific-and-production association “Ekran”, JSC in serial production. EMERALD devices are unique and have no analogues. Electrochemical reactors constructed of patented FEM-3 diaphragm flow electrochemical modular elements are the main elements of these devices.

EMERALD devices fundamental difference from all the other devices destined for water purification consists in the following features:

• the water purification processes run thanks to oxidative and reducing reactions which start in FEM-3 flow electrochemical elements when electrons are taken out of water or when electrons are loaded into water;
• they permit to impart water physiologically functional properties which exert positive influence on the whole organism;
• they purify water from pathogenic microorganisms of all the species and forms;
• they purify water from microbial toxins;
• there are no microbes accumulating and multiplying in EMERALD devices;
• they purify water from high-density metals ions;
• they purify water from harmful organic compounds;
• the main plant elements where oxidative and reducing reactions take place have unlimited service life and do not require replacement.

Already designed to date and put into serial production are the EMERALD devices of new generation – that is, the models which were designed in the year of 2006 under the trade names: EMERALD-M1, EMERALD-K1 and EMERALD-K1-A.

There has been the only weakness of the previous device models eliminated in EMERALD devices of the new generation – there is no oxidants smell, with all the unique properties of water processed by EMERALD devices retained. Emerald devices of the models designed in the year of 2006 appeared owing to significant improvements made with respect to the main devices part – that is, FEM-3 diaphragm flow electrochemical modular element.

There are only two enterprises in the world which are manufacturing EMERALD devices in lots since the year of 2006, they are: “Laboratory of Electrotechnology ”, limited liability company and Electrochemical Medical Technique Department of “Scientific-and-producion association “Ekran” (Screen)”, joint-stock company, – and these devices are distributed via authorized manufacturer’s representatives.
