Comment on Neutral Anolyte Application with the Purposes of Disinfection in Patient-Care and Disease-Prevention Institutions of the city of Stariy Oskol, Belgorodskaya district

“… The four STEL devices of 4N-60-02-modification are functioning in 3 large-scale patient-care and disease-prevention institutions of the city:
- City hospital No 1 equipped with 1070 beds, including polyclinic meant for 820 visits per shift and injury-treatment station meant for 300 visits;
- City hospital No 2 equipped with 420 beds;
- Adult stomatological polyclinic meant for 300 visits per shift.
… The cumulative daily output of the 4 STEL devices makes 1000 – 1300 litres of disinfecting solution. There are up to 32 tons of ANK-anolyte consumed per month. There are up to 80 litres of neutral anolyte having the active chlorine content equal to 300 mg/litre manufactured of 10 litres of 10%-soduim chloride solution.
… There have been no allergic or any other reactions observed with the employees who worked with generated solutions.
…Neutral anolyte manufactured with the help of electrochemical activation method destroys either pathogenic organisms of the bacterial and viral aetiology or those of mycotic aetiology (goldish staphylococcus, blue pus colon bacillus, V-hepatitis virus, poliomyelitis, human immunodeficiency virus, adenoviruses, tuberculosis, salmonellosis and dermatomycosis pathogenic organisms and so on). The percentage of unsatisfactory results obtained for washouts that were made in the above indicated patient-care and disease-prevention institutions of the city has reduced, with the latter fact testifying the efficiency of currently applied disinfection carried out using ANK-anolyte. … As far as the procedure of medical-purpose articles disinfection is combined with pre-sterilisation cleansing procedure, the time of instruments treatment reduces and the necessity of supplementary reservoirs and reagents application disappears. When there were azopyramic and phenolphtalein samples taken, all the 6 reactions turned to be negative.
Anolyte spraying in the air of dressing rooms, medical treatment rooms and surgical departments during overall cleaning procedures permits to reduce microbial insemination level to minimal figures not only with respect to certain objects but also for air. Such an air disinfection is by several times as more efficient as disinfection carried out using toxic chlorine-containing disinfecting agents, not innocuous high-concentration solutions of hydrogen peroxide and electromagnetic radiations emitted in the form of ultraviolet irradiation, with the latter being extremely harmful for all the living beings, including human beings.
… Conclusion.
Consequently, the practical work experience gained by several patient-care and disease-prevention institutions of the city of Stariy Oskol, Belgorodskaya district, testifies that neutral anolyte manufactured using the method of dietary salt solution electrochemical activation in drinking water, - is an effective, convenient for application, economically sound and ecologically clean disinfecting agent which doesn’t provoke any allergic reactions and deserves active introduction for application.”
