Comment on Electrochemically Activated Sodium, Potassium and Calcium Chlorides Solutions Application for Incubated Eggs Washing and Disinfection

V. N. Gushchin, deputy head of the Central administrative board of Veterinary medicine:

  1. “I. General provisions.
    1. Electrochemically activated chlorides (NaCl, KCl, CaCl) solutions are used with the purposes of humid washing (in the form of immersion into solution) and disinfection of incubated eggs of birds (of hens, ducks and of the birds of other species).
    2. The offered regime and technology of eggs processing permit to fully replace preventive eggs disinfection with formaldehyde aerosols.
    3. The regime and technology of eggs washing and disinfection carried out with the help of electrochemically activated chlorides are recommended for application in hatcheries and egg storehouses of poultry factories, at IPS, and at farmers’ plants, as well.
