Comment on Experience of the Devices of STEL type Application for the Purposes of Water Conditioning in Swimming Pools
«Ecomed-Service», LLC, the city of Sochi. G. P. Martynov, the director of «Ecomed-Service», LLC: “…For more than 6 years «Ecomed-Service», LLC is practicing “STEL” devices introduction for application in sanatorium-and-hygienic practice of the institutions located on the territory of such resorts as the city of Sochi and Caucasian Mineral Waters. One of the directions of activities which are carried out by the company is application of the devices, which are destined for electrochemical synthesis of disinfecting anolyte solution (STEL-10N-120-01), with the purposes of water conditioning in swimming pools. … Within three years such a water conditioning technology was being used by us in 10 treatment-and-swimming pools of such cities as the city of Sochi, the city of Anapa and the city of Zheleznovodsk, with these pools being filled either with fresh water or with sea-water. … As the result of experience accumulation we have gained an opportunity to increase by 2 – 6 times the length of the period within which water contained in swimming pools was left completely unchanged, with the latter fact representing strongly pronounced economic effect for “customer”. There could be the following examples given for the purpose of comparison: Prior to “STEL”-system application the cycle of full water replacement in swimming pools of such sanatoriums as “Metallurg” and “Sanatorium named after F. E. Dzerzhinskiy” – the city of Sochi, and “Diluch” sanatorium – the city of Anapa, made 10 days. After the “STEL”-system was put into operation this period made – 45…60 days. Chloride-bearing reagents replacement with neutral anolyte permits to obtain strongly pronounced economic effect, with the “STEL” devices being repaid within 6 – 8 months. … Conclusions: “STEL”-system application for the purposes of complex water conditioning in swimming pools is ecologically harmless, economically expedient and permits to ensure stable water disinfection, in accordance with the requirements of SanPin 2.1.2.-568-96, Sanitary Code.” |
