Protocol of STEL-4N-60-01 device Clinical Testing Conducted in the Field of Washing, Disinfecting and Sterilising Solutions Manufacturing

“Hereby advised are the results of control approbation of STEL-4N-60-01 device carried out with respect to washing, disinfecting and sterilising solutions manufacturing. Appendix: contains 5 pages.”

M. S. Maronova, epidemiologist of the Central Military Hospital of Federal Security Service of Russia:

“Practical tests of neutral anolyte manufactured in STEL-4N-60-01 device and destined for the purposes of disinfection and pre-sterilisation cleansing were conducted in the following departments: in anaesthesiology and resuscitation department, in urology department, – starting from April 03, 1995 till June 30, 1995.


Conclusions:

  1. STEL-4N-60-01-plant permits practically unlimited quantity of inexpensive disinfecting solution – that is, of neutral anolyte, – to be manufactured directly at working place of Patient-care and Disease-prevention Institutions, with the latter fact providing the significant advantage over solutions prepared of crystalline preparations.
  2. In case electrochemically activated solutions are applied in accordance with the respective procedure, then this gives an opportunity to easily ensure sanitary-and-epidemiological regime observation in patient-care and disease-prevention institutions.
  3. Neutral anolyte can be recommended for surgeons as a disinfectant that could be applied for their hands treatment.
  4. Neutral anolyte doesn’t exert any detrimental effect on maintenance staff.
  5. STEL-4N-60-01-plant designed and manufactured by “Ekran”, Scientific-and-production association” can be recommended for application in Patient-care and Disease-prevention Institutions.”
